Photography and Art: One by Sarah Elaiza Buyco
I remember you everyday.
When I wake up, when I go through the day,
when I sleep.
When I lie down on your bed and stare at your
old and empty black walls.
When I read your messages over and over.
When I listen to your playlist.
I remember you.
You never died.
You just went far, far away.
And I know I’ll see you again.
Someday.

Photography and Art: Unknown Soldiers by Justin Akia
The crosses/gravestones markers make present for us the memories of all
those who valiantly defended the freedom we enjoy so much today. Though
we may never know their names, each and every cross serves as a
testimony in their memory.

Photography and Art: Sacred Art by Justin Akia
"Art has the power not only to give life to our imaginations but also to
trigger memories. Art not only preserves the memory of a bygone era,
but it reminds us of the greatness that our humanity, frail as it may
be, can attain. Sacred Art, in particular, brings to the present both
past and future. Past in the sense that it reminds us of God's presence
throughout time and future as it calls us to make that journey towards
new life."
