Poetry: Silver by Michaela Carmitan

SILVER
 by Michaela Carmitan

During moments of gray and blue

When the entire world sleeps/weeps

I look at you, and the whole landscape falls

The world crumbles into dusty fragments

Of shades of memories forgotten

Of goodbyes lost and unspoken

But here you are

And despite the gloom/doom

I see only you

You, and your Technicolor smile

The world falls into place

Pieces fall into place

And I fall into you
