Welcome Note

Welcome to the Gunita, the 2015 UP Portia Sorority Literary Folio
Here's the thing about memory: it's universal. Everyone has a past to tell, in one fashion or another. Was it any wonder, then, that we received such an overwhelming number of submissions this year?

In order to accommodate the high volume of works (and because some of our editors simply refused to let go of certain amazing pieces that, due to practical considerations like layout, could not be included in the printed folio--"what do you mean this doesn't fit, this is too good to exclude!"), this year we are launching the first ever online version of our annual litfolio.

To browse the site, simply click on the red button on the upper right corner and let your fancy take you where you will.

I remember you everyday.
When I wake up, when I go through the day, when I sleep.
When I lie down on your bed and stare at your old and empty black walls.
When I read your messages over and over.
When I listen to your playlist.
I remember you.

You never died.
You just went far, far away.
And I know I’ll see you again.
Someday.
